At last year's GARS Junior Workshop, GARS24, Yu Liu was a Master Student at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China. He presented his study "Flight retiming problem under time-dependent uncertainty" online (coauthors are Jing Zhu, Zhejiang University: Zhou Xu, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Hong Ma, Zhejiang University). The (independent) international jury was impressed by his research and decided to pick him as the winner of the Best Paper Prize of 400 EUR in the Bachelor/Master category and a book voucher. The money prize is sponsored by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies where he happens to be a PhD by now. The book voucher is sponsored by Routledge.
Btw, GARS25 will be hosted by the German Aerospace Centre (DLR). We'll meet May 19th for a GARS workshop in which our colleagues from DLR will present their new study about the German aviation market. GARS25 is scheduled May 20th-21st.
